A comprehensive internal refurbishment to a well worn classroom block for Burwood East SDS in Victoria for the VSBA.

The design focused on surgical updates to the existing rabbit warren of foyers and amenities blocks connecting 5 classrooms, refurbishing all classrooms and carving out dedicated student amenities rooms to each classroom. The school team requested a simplified diagram of access and amenity with homely, intuitive interiors and suitably scaled retreat nooks for students in a warm and neutral palette.
